College Assessment: async intakeΔ Step 1Step 2Step 3Step 4Step 5Step 6How our intake worksStep 1 of 6 · about 1 minute · 1 required A note on price. Our Application Accelerator packages for high schoolers start at $10,000, with payment plans on every tier. If that’s outside your family’s range for college applications support, we’re not going to be the right team. I’d rather you know that now, before you’ve spent 20 minutes on this form. How the intake works. After you submit this form, you’ll get a written evaluation report from me within 5 business days. It’s my read on whether your student’s profile would be competitive at the schools on your list, with our help. If it’s a fit, the report outlines the packages available. Once you have the report, ask me anything you want, in writing or by voice message. I, Kaneisha Grayson (the founder), will respond in writing, sometimes with a voice message. What I don’t offer is free calls with families who aren’t our clients yet. That’s how I protect my limited capacity for the families we’re already working with. Please confirm before continuing I understand this process and I’m ready to proceed.Save and come back laterBackNextAbout your familyStep 2 of 6 · about 3 minutes · 6 requiredYour student first, then you.Your student’s first nameYour student’s last nameWhat should we call your student?Your first nameYour last nameWhat should we call you?Your best emailYour best phoneYour time zone- Select -Eastern (New York, Atlanta)Central (Chicago, Austin)Mountain (Denver, Phoenix)Pacific (Los Angeles, Seattle)AlaskaHawaiiOutside the US (I’ll tell you below)How did you first find The Art of Applying?- Select -YouTubeGoogle searchA friend or colleagueInstagramFacebookAn Instagram adA Facebook adRedditA podcastChatGPT or another AI assistantSomewhere elseWhere did you find us?Save and come back laterBackNextAbout your studentStep 3 of 6 · about 5 minutes · 4 requiredWould you rather say it than type it? Hand it off. I want to trust your team and see updates. Balanced. I want visibility on the big decisions, but not the day-to-day. Fully involved. I want to be part of every step. Not sure yet.How is your family planning to pay for college tuition? Full pay, no financial aid needed. Some financial aid needed. Substantial financial aid needed. Planning around merit aid and outside scholarships. Not sure yet. Two ways to pay for a selective private college, and they lead to different school lists. Schools like Stanford, the Ivies, and most top-25 privates award aid on family need only; there is no merit scholarship to win there. Schools that award merit scholarships use them to recruit students who would be near the top of their class, so they are less selective than the first group. A family has to choose. Every college is required to post a net price calculator; the Department of Education lists them all at collegecost.ed.gov/net-price. Which path is your family choosing? Prestige path. We are aiming for the most selective schools, we understand they award aid on family need only, and we have run a net price calculator and are prepared to pay our estimated family contribution. Merit path. We want merit scholarships, we understand they come from less selective schools, and we will build the list around them. We have not decided yet. What did the net price calculator say your family would pay per year at your dream school 1? That decision comes first. Until it is made, an admissions strategy is built on the wrong list, and we cannot do our best work for your student. Make the choice as a family, then come back and submit the form. We will be here. What is your family’s investment range for college applications support?
